Requirements for all membership packages
Please note that three personal training sessions will be required prior to being able to participate in Crossfit classes and workouts. These sessions are at the personal training rate. Each session is about one hour long. During these sessions the 9 fundamental movements of CrossFit are taught: the squat, front squat, overhead squat, deadlift, sumo deadlift highpull, clean, shoulder press, push press, and push jerk. We will also cover our normal warm up.
These three personal sessions to learn the fundamentals are critical. They ensure that there is a solid basic understanding of the moves so that the WODs can be performed safely.
After the fundamentals, WODs can be performed in personal training sessions or in a class, depending on the amount of personal attention a client desires.

General information about classes
Classes are roughly one hour in duration. Most classes will begin with a warm up, then lead to an overview of certain Crossfit skills and movements used in the day’s workout. The workout of the day will then be performed. The client should then document the day’s workout along with weights used and the time it took them to complete the workout in their personal workout journal.
