CFVB was the first dedicated CrossFit facility in the Hampton Roads area. Personal instruction and group classes are available. We are passionate about CrossFit, working out, and living a healthy lifestyle. Our enthusiasm is evident in the way we conduct our business, live our lives, and treat our clients. We have a sincere desire to improve the quality of our clients’ lives. Physical health spills over into all other facets of our lives. Group Classes

Group classes are the heart and soul of CrossFit. Nothing creates bonds of friendship
better than shared suffering. At CFVB we love our community. Members of our gym
come from all walks of life and vary in age, athletic ability, and social status among
many other differences. But when we walk in the door, we’re all CrossFitters.
Everyone is there to improve the quality of their lives and to support one another in
our quest to do so.
Personal Instruction

One on one sessions are available to athletes who are new to CrossFit and may require
some extra instruction as well as more experienced athletes who are looking to take
their performance to the next level. These sessions are tailored to the goals of each
individual and may differ from the daily WOD in order to maximize the learning curve
of the athlete. The goal here is to provide athletes with a deeper awareness of how
to fully express their ability as athletes.
$60/Hour
Weightlifting Video Analysis
For athletes who really want to take their weightlifting to the next level video
analysis is a must. Athletes meet with a trainer for a private session and perform the
lifts of their choice. The video will then be reviewed and edited to show errors in
technique using specialized computer software. Next is a review meeting in which
the athlete will have an opportunity to review the video with a trainer and discuss
strategies to correct the movement faults limiting their performance.
Nutrition Consultation

Proper nutrition is perhaps THE most critical element of any exercise program and
often, the most neglected one. Exercise is stress. Our ability to fully recover from
this stress is imperative. Without proper nutrition we severely limit our adaptation
potential. Lack of good scientific and empirical data can make food choices
extremely difficult. Many of us have failed with “diets” and are fed up with confusing
information from industry experts. At CFVB, we practice what we preach.
Our dietary recommendations are based on knowledge garnered through education,
research, and experimentation. Private sessions are scheduled with a CFVB trainer to
create strategies to meet your specific goals.

Performance Massage Therapy

Mobility and recovery Class:
Cramped desks, repetitive movement patterns, trauma, and chronic lack of proper
exercise all create tight muscles and joints with limited flexibility and functional
range of motion. The mobility class is designed to teach athletes tried and true
methods for improving these qualities to enhance performance, recovery, and to
prevent injury.
Members $10 Drop-in
Non-Members $12 Drop-in
Pay for 10 Classes up front and members receive a 20% discount, non-members receive 10% discount
