On the minute:
Complete 5 burpees and perform max rep 135 lbs thrusters on the minute.
The goal is to complete 100 total thrusters.
*At the beginning of every minute perform 5 burpees, for the rest of the minute perform as many thrusters as you can during that minute. At the beginning of the next minute perform 5 burpees and then max rep thrusters and so on until you reach 100 total thrusters.
Post the total number of minutes it took to reach 100 thrusters.
here is the link to the time CF football ran this WOD. Looks like VERY few people did it rx’d or finished.. PLEASE post over there too if you do RX’d and or finish haheeheheh Kalsu @ CF football site

Holy Crap! This should be a fun one! Brine get your happy arss outta bed in the morning – don’t make me do this one alone

Feel free to make fun of me and continue to do so until I man up.
OMG!!!! that’s all I have to say. THANK You SOOOO Much BS for joining me this morning
26 mins @ 72#
argghhh! wish i was still there!
this looks like a fun one- even though it looks like i have half a plum glued to my upper right chest from that thruster/run wod last week…
Sorry shay catch you on wed. had some reservist crap I needed to take care of….looks like a killer tho
Travis, misery loves company; I DNF also. First ever.
I generally felt weak
I didn’t have coffee yet
I usually don’t WO in the AM
I have the sniffels
It was cold
I hate burpees ( I did a lot, though)
The bar was heavy
The planets were out of alignment
My soaz and rectors femorus were tight
blah blah blah
That was hard.
Excellent job Shay!
Shay – that’s awesome girl!!!!
Wow, I bet it was a very humbling experience. I’m starting to get nervous now….
I found this list on the CFVB site awhile back when I was bored looking through old workouts one day. #4 seems fitting for this workout: I fear no man but I fear my workout. If I don’t fear my workout, it isn’t hard enough.
My mental preparation for the pain of this workout isn’t going so good.
Good work Scott & Gavin!

From the crossfit football website.
You guys dont know me but I follow your workouts from Richmond.
39 minutes, 72# deadlifts (still nursing the shoulder) with a few rounds of just burpees and a handful of nothing but running outside thinking I was going to puke. That sucked!
Rick-thanks for the article. I might have to send that one the way of some people at work that like to call me a cavewoman. =)
20 rounds of 5 135# thrusters, 5 burpees. I just wanted to finish, time was not rx’d. Once I could not maintain the on-the-minute burpees, I just committed to finishing all 100 thrusters using the 5-rep scheme.
Hat’s off to anyone who finished this as rx’d. Brutal WOD.
47m rx’d…. Wow
That was a real be@tch of a WOD to come back to after a week’s rest (much needed though). Rick, welcome. Post more often brother. Yeti, good to hear from you man.
41m i think, not sure tho. But i did 50 rounds as rx’d before i called it. Big gratz to Rob for finishing as Rxd! No small feat my friend!
34 @ 72#…YIKES! that was BRUUUUTAL! Great work everyone!
Additionally, I’m curious if anyone has any New Years Resolution or goals in general they’d like to share. Fitness or otherwise. Mine are:
Performance Goals 2010
500 # Deadlift
400+ Squat
Hanstand Push Ups on parallettes
40 Pull Ups
Bodyweight Press
300# Clean and Jerk
1 MInute L-sit
Back Lever
I’m done talking now.
40 min @ 75#/real burpees for the first 56
– my darn shoulder was a little cranky
, but it’s perfect now!
On Number 56 switched to 65#/sprawls
Holy Mother of CrossFit that was tough!
Rob you killed it – awesome job!
That had to be one of the hardest workout i have ever done. 38 rounds, the burpees killed me. had to go to sprawls and started at 95 lbs and had to go to 75 lbs. Good job everyone who even tried that workout.
