Today is my One year of CF and I wanted to post this! I will try to be as concise as possible, thou that’s not my strength
Where do I even begin…CrossFit has changed my life. Time really does fly when you are having fun – and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing with each and every WOD over the last year. I would like to share a few of the things I’ve learned in the past 365 days:
1. If you can do one, you can do 100 and you’ll lose some skin in the process
…you know that I love you, Girl!

2. If the workout seems to look easy on the board… it’s NOT.
3. If you can’t walk up/down the stairs without looking like Barney, that’s because you just did 200 walking lunges and/or squats
4. Your Facebook status updates are CF coded and your FB gallery contains more CrossFit pictures then pictures of friends and family
5. What goes up must come down… and if you are not ready for it, it’s going to hit you in the face.
6. You get annoyed if Thominatrix scaled you so that your own stubborn a$$ doesn’t get hurt
7. Your car trunk will most likely have: five fingers, jump rope, tape, changes of workout cloth, hair band, band-aids and lifting shoes
8. You are WAY stronger than you think you are.
9. You get irritated if something stands on the way between you and your WOD
10. Your non-CrossFitting friends will get offended when you go out and don’t eat the same way they do
11. You will often be found sitting at a computer hitting refresh to see the WOD of the day or the blog comments
12. Your family, friends, circle of associates don’t understand why you’re so passionate about the other people you just met at the box.
13. A cell phone, wallet, chopstick, nail file, calluses shaver are essential items to keep in your purse at all times.
14. You make pretty awesome sweat angels on the floor post WOD
15. You always have an unexplainable bruise/scratches somewhere or ripped hands
16. You find yourself ‘accidently’ drive to CFVB on your day Off, just to hang out
17. Your coworkers often find you stretching, as Rob prescribed
18. You will look at every horizontal bar/tree branch and think to yourself: I wonder if I can do a pull up on that.
19. If you catch yourself mentally preparing for an upcoming “Fran” the night before, you’re officially addicted
20. Give CrossFit 30 days and you won’t believe what you are capable of.
21. Give CrossFit 120 days and you’ll reevaluate your lifestyle and nutritional consumption
22. Give CrossFit 365 days and you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it!
However, the thing I like the most about CFVB is the people and trainers. I’ve never met a more friendly, more encouraging bunch in my life. It’s literally like everyone shares in everyone else’s accomplishments. Guys, thank you for sharing this passion with me!

LOL, Brian, the chopstick I would use in self-defense for Combat Jujitsu. You know hanging in this elite special operations forces community
had to adapt.
