    thomi in reference to your running question and how people train for it i could say that i have never done only running or done more running to do a race. on a very small scale such as the mud run i can say that in this past years race i ran with a bunch of guys from work who all ran more to train for it. some doing 6 7 8 miles at a time. i only continued to do WODS. The result was my time was almost 8-12 minutes better then those guys i knew who only ran. the only runinng i did was the runs that came up in the WOD.
