I have done yard work for time for the last 3 days...I feel worse than after a painstorm, so today I rest and remember.

For those that don't know I grew up in a very small town, the sign says population 502. On December 23, 2006 a gentleman by the name of Curtis Norris (don't call him Chuck) died in a roadside attack in Iraq delievering supplies. Today in my hometown parade his father carried the POW/MIA flag to carry on Curt's memory and those that were lost before him, he did it with just as much pride and honor as Curt.

So on this Memorial Day, I remember Curt. He was a great man, son, and father. I know all of us have someone to remember today and I want to say thanks to those that still lace up thier boots everday. See you guys tomorrow.

This is the first time I just couldn't finish the wod. I wish I could say I was hung over today, but I haven't had alcohol in months. I did feel extremely tired and weak prior to the workout though. During the wod I couldn't control my hyper-ventilating and my back started to hurt after I finished my 21 reps. I'm very disappointed and embarassed. I'm sorry I let my team down, but I really didn't want to black out with a barbell over my head. I will redeem myself next time. Off to drink some water and take some tylenol. See you guys on Wednesday.
