anybody have any advice on damper settings? i know Chris is a rower, so if anyone sees him pick his brain for me. thanks! i always roll at 10, but i don’t think that is optimal?

So, my personal opinion is that damper does not effect time only the feel of the boat in the water, dont get me wrong it is easier to stroke w/ D=1 however more rest time on the return stroke w/ D=10. My suggestion to you is to do this for your self at D=5,7,&10 then use the one which is the fastest. You do not have a long enough stroke to use D<5 but are powerful so your optimal setting will be between 5 and 10.
